Comic Summary: Magneto faces off against Diablo and Absorbing Man to save Robert Kelly from a prisoner of war camp, though the odds are too much for Magneto. Luckily, two of the X-Men come and help him win the battle. After their victory, Nightcrawler informs Magneto that Mystique has discovered where Apocalypse is hiding. Later that day, Sabretooth talks to Blink about her depression, but is interrupted when Morph comes in to take him to Magneto's emergency meeting in the War Room. At the meeting, they learn that Apocalypse is hidden on the moon but the only way to get there is by using Blink's mutant ability. Blink is still in her room when Morph, disguised as Sabretooth, convinces her to take the X-Men to the moon. Already on the moon, Cyclops is watching Sunfire being tortured when Death approaches him and they discuss a later shipment. Cyclops secretly hates what Death is doing and he has doubts about Death's loyalties to Apocalypse. While Cyclops ponders, Blink transports the team to the moon's surface just below the space ship that Apocalypse is believed to be on. After an intense battle with Death and his Inhumans where the X-Men minus Blink are captured, Death has them strapped into restraints and he prepares to turn them into hideous slaves. Blink though has escaped her would-be captors and runs into Cyclops, who decides to help her save the X-Men. Finally, both mutants are able to save the X-men plus Sunfire and kill Death.

Comic Summary: While Holocaust and Apocalypse enjoy torturing the captive Magneto, they are informed of the Eurasian Human High Council having unleashed their bombs on Apocalypse’s strongholds. Apocalypse commands to expand the sea wall defense grid across the Atlantic. The Angel approaches the stronghold, searching for his missing partner Karma. After finding her turned into one of the Infinites, he decides to make a stand and he sacrifices his own life to destroy the shielding generator of Apocalypse’s base. Thanks to Blink’s teleportation powers, the X-Men and their friends secretly enter the pens and find them empty. They proceed to the chamber where Apocalypse has placed the M’Kraan crystal in and prepare to send a team into it to correct the timeline. Destiny reveals that only she, Illyana and Bishop can enter, as they no longer have a counterpart in the true reality. Meanwhile Nate Grey has entered the palace, seeking vengeance for his mentor Forge’s death. Outside in the streets, Jean Grey and Cyclops are leading the people they freed from the pens towards New Jersey. They are unaware of themselves being stalked by Havok, and when Jean senses the death of the many people in the midwestern bombing, she knows that they are about to share the same fate. Sensing the bombs approach, she erects a telekinetic shield over New York. Yet to torture his brother, Havok fires a fatal plasma blast in her back and then kills Cyclops. Although he has only a few seconds to enjoy his victory, as Weapon X stabs him from behind with his claws. Who despite the bombing he returned to be together with Jean, who now dies in his arms. In the remains of the stronghold, Nate Grey is fighting Holocaust and intending to damage his armor he rams a crystal shard into his chest, with unexpected results – both vanish without a trace. Magneto seemingly looses his final battle with Apocalypse, but he was only faking and taking time to concentrate. In the end he manages to charge enough magnetic energy to rip Apocalypse in half. As the bombs hit the ground a few minutes later, Magneto holds his wife and son close to him and he thanks Charles Xavier for giving him such a great dream. In the past Bishop manages to prevent Legion from accidentally killing Xavier. Instead he rams the psi-knife intended for Erik into his own chest, so that Legion sees the nightmarish images of the Age of Apocalypse. Seeing the horror he would cause, Legion dies of the energy feedback, and the old Bishop too fades out as reality reboots. Without Legion to anchor them, the four X-Men who went into the past after him get sucked back to the present. In Israel Charles Xavier, Erik Magnus Lehnsherr and Gabrielle Haller are left behind wondering what happened. (Brief description courtesy of uncannyxmen.net)

Comic Summary: Six heroes from different timelines find themselves stranded nowhen and nowhere. They are Blink from “AoA“, Nocturne from “Professor W’s X-Men“, a future son of Rogue and Magneto named Magnus, and alternate versions of Morph, Mimic and Thunderbird. They are welcomed by a Time Broker who explains to them that each their home dimensions have been altered for the worse by a ripple in time, but that they are given the chance to change them back. Therefore they have to jump around various alternate scenarios, guided by a device called Tallus. Even though the realities they will find themselves in have apparently no connection to their own times, they are supposed to repair breaks in time, which otherwise are responsible for their own current condition through a domino effect. The mission is very dangerous as the Exiles can be injured or die along the way. If the are succesful their times go back to normal, and the members will return to the instant they left, if they fail, the altered timelines will become permanent. Comic Summary: On Genosha, Wanda Maximoff alters reality to make it seem as if she truly has children once again. However, Professor Xavier, who is trying to heal Wanda, forces her to place reality back in place, leaving her lucid enough to agonize over how she killed several of the Avengers, including her ex-husband. It seems this is a recurring scenario and always ends with Xavier psionically forcing Wanda to sleep. However, this ploy is not working as well anymore. Xavier informs Magneto on the dire situation, but Magneto blames himself for it all, as he destroyed his children’s lives in the name of his dead dream. Xavier runs out of options and secretly travels to New York City, where he meets with the new Avengers to discuss the fate of Wanda. The new Avengers call in several former Avengers and Dr. Strange, as well as Cyclops’ team of X-Men, who are shocked to see the Professor after how things ended the last time they met. The heroes waste no time in discussing the situation. Emma and Wolverine find themselves in the minority, as they want to kill Wanda. Shockingly, Xavier reluctantly admits that killing her may be their only option. Wasp and Warbird demand to see Wanda and thus the heroes travel to Genosha, unaware that Quicksilver discovered their secret meeting and ran to his father, fearing that the heroes would come and kill Wanda. Quicksilver, however, is left heartbroken to hear that his father agrees that perhaps Wanda would be better off put out of her misery, though Magneto is quite ashamed to admit it. However, when the heroes reach Genosha they find Magneto and Wanda missing. Suddenly, Xavier disappears and Emma senses Wanda in a church. Dr. Strange, Iron Man and Spider-Man, however, sense nothing. Spider-Man enters the church and goes ahead of the others. As he rounds the corner into a next room, he notices something but, before he can see what it is… reality changes, possibly forever. Peter Parker then wakes up in New York City to hear his baby crying. His lovely blonde wife, Gwen Stacy, reminds him that it is his turn to check on their child, Ritchie.

Comic Summary: Jubilee is running through the woods of the estate as she comes across the dead body of her friend, Logan. Wearing her nightgown, she cries out scared as Sabretooth pounces from a nearby tree. Luckily, seconds later she wakes up, realizing it was only a dream. Hearing the commotion, Jean comes into the room to comfort her. Jean, now mad, sends out a psi-call to Scott, Ororo, and Hank to meet her at Harry’s Hideaway, a local tavern. While there, they discuss Creed’s recent addition to the mansion’s residents and their questioning of Xavier’s motives. In the mansion, Xavier studies Revanche’s condition and is turned down when he asks if he can study her more. Seconds later, Xavier’s attention is diverted, as he has to go check on Psylocke’s failed attempt at giving Creed his glow. While in the Control Annex, Xavier also watches the recording of Rogue and Remy delivering to Creed his evening meal. Later that night, Jean accuses Xavier of not thinking clearly, especially about Creed’s recent admission. Xavier thanks her for her comments and leaves to finally get some rest. Scott questions Jeans anger but their conversation is cut short when Moira calls asking for Jean to help give Creed his glow. Jean agrees and heads off to face her fears. While there, she puts down the forcefield and goes into Creed’s cell. Jean abuses Creed to ease her fears and leaves the cell without giving him the glow he wanted. Instead, she tells him to have the guts to face his past, just like everyone else in the world. In the morning, Jubilee takes Creed’s breakfast to him to try and ease her fears as well but it is not successful as she leaves just as scared as she came.

Comic Summary: In the White House, the president makes an emergency phone call to Russia, notifying him that the UN Security Council has activated the Magneto Protocols. A few minutes later, a man named Nick Fury awaits the actions of Forge, who is finishing the preparations to start the protocols, which he does. Magneto flies to the middle of the barrier the humans have erected around Earth and realizes that the humans have made a mechanism which would never allow his powers to work while he was on Earth again, or so they think. Magneto concentrates, sending a swath of energy through the electromagnetic field, surrounding Earth, which effectively disrupts every electrical item on Earth. Cyclops informs the X-Men of the recent events and Xavier decides to take the opportunity that Magneto has given them to sneak attack him. After a lot of arguing, the X-Men reluctantly agree to allow Xavier to lead the battle, wearing his new battle armor that allows him to walk by using his mental powers to control it. After saying their goodbyes, the six-team members transport themselves to Avalon to begin their mission. After meeting Rusty and Skids and making their way to a control room, Xavier sends Quicksilver off to place a control disc in the computer’s main frame to allow Xavier control over the station. Xavier commands the station to teleport the Acolytes off of the station. Xavier seizes the opportunity to allow he and Jean to enter Magnus’ mind. Wolverine had attacked Magneto in order to save Quicksilver’s life, as he was about to be killed by his own father. Magneto wounded and kneeling on the floor, begins to use his powers to rip the adamantium from Logan’s body. Xavier, having had enough of Magnus’ killing, removes Magneto’s mind, leaving him exhausted and barely able to move. The X-Men are confused on what just happened until Xavier explains the horrific actions he just perpetrated on Magneto’s mind. (Brief description courtesy of uncannyxmen.net)
