Mutant X's Gambit is very similar to reality.
Gambit grew up in the guild, married Bella Donna, and worked for Sinister.
That is where the changes begin. Instead of the massacre, he and Bloodstorm
(the vampiric Storm of that reality) stole two children for Sinister. When
Sinister told him to kill the female child he refused. Gambit recieved
a mortal wound and Storm saved him, turning him into a vampire. Gambit
returned to his wife with the child, later named Raven. The Six approached
him and a battle insued, killing Bella Donna. Gambit joined the Six and
sent his child away for protection. Later he left with his child, leaving
the Six for good.

knew he became a street performer, living in an abandoned street train.
When his powers went out of control he was taken in by Fenris. They wanted

X-Men Forever's Gambit is part of Claremont's "re-telling"
of the X-Men starting at X-Men #3, where he originally left the company.
Right now Gambit's real name is known as Remy Picard, but enemies have
mentioned the name LeBeau. He is till a theif but seems to be more of a
father figure with Storm, who remains a child, and Kitty Pryde. He seems
to be a little more discontent within the mansion and is thinking strongly
of leaving but stays to keep Storm there so she can have help with her
powers. His uniform has changed drastically as well. He has more of a James
Bond look. |

Remy is not known as Gambit in the Noir Universe,
only as Remy or M. LeBeau. The Noir Universe is set in the 1940's and there
are no mutants, just gangsters, detectives and everyone caught in the middle.
Remy is one of the ones in the middle mainly. He is a night club owner
that has a gambling house inside. He has an issue with the so called X-Men
because one of them have come in and conned one of his dealers to help
them steal money from his club.

A zombie version of Gambit is part of the first run of Marvel Zombies
and possibly the second, but that is yet to be seen. He is one of the dozens
of super-powered zombies attacking Doctor Doom's castle trying to reach
the unaffected humans inside. His zombie life is ended by Silver Surfer
a short time into the series. Not much is said about his background in
the Zombie universe since he was not a huge player in the story.

The X-Babies are a group of Mojo-manufactured child clones of the X-Men.
Mojo had de-aged the X-Men into children early on in the Uncanny X-men
series and after the exceptional ratings it produced he created the X-Babies
to take place of the original X-men after their escape. Once Mojo began
to lose power over the Mojo Universe, he "cancelled" the X-babies,
including the X-baby Gambit. They fled to the real dimension to ask the
real X-men to save them from death. Dazzler took them back to Mojo-verse,
promising to protect them all.

X-Men Misfits is a re-telling of X-Men in Manga (Japanese Comic Books)
form. It is told from Kitty Pryde's point of view. All the characters are
young teenagers, just developing their powers. Kitty runs into young Remy
in the kitchen when she decided she wants a midnight snack. She falls in
love with the quiet loners food instantly. Though he is not a huge character
in volume one, volume two features a cooking contest that I am sure Remy
will not be able to resist.

This Gambit was a hybrid dreamed up by Wizard
Magazine. He was a mix of Gambit from the X-men Universe and Grifter from
the WildC.A.T. Universe. His real name was Remy Cash. He was part of the
New Orleans Theives Guild, like Gambit. He was hired by the government
to steal a vial of Gen X-Factor. During the heist he was exposed to the
serum giving him incredible power, like Grifter. There was never really
a comic behind the character. He only appeared in Wizard magazine.
